SShelfdex
Draft. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change
before Shelfdex is generally available.
Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 October 2026.
What we collect
- Account details: your name (if you give one), email address, workspace and company name,
and a password stored only as a salted hash.
- Your warehouse records: items, locations, quantities, orders and the history of changes,
including which person made each change.
- Usage and security records: sign-in times, the device description your browser sends,
counts of requests per workspace (for limits and cost), and failed sign-in attempts — stored as
one-way hashes, not as the email or address itself.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only Stripe's
customer and subscription reference.
Cookies and local storage
One cookie, to keep you signed in. Your browser also remembers your workspace name, light or dark
mode and which menu sections you folded. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Who processes it for us
- Render — runs the application (United States).
- Neon — stores the database, with point-in-time backups (United States).
- Resend — sends account emails such as confirmations and password resets.
- Stripe — takes payments, for paid plans.
- Anthropic — only if the layout assistant is used: the sentence you type to describe a layout is sent to it to interpret.
If you connect your own Claude or ChatGPT, data your assistant reads goes to that provider under your own agreement with them.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your warehouse records to train AI models.
How long we keep it
For as long as your workspace exists. A workspace whose owner never confirmed their email is deleted
automatically after 7 days. When you ask us to delete a workspace, it is removed from the live
database promptly and ages out of backups within 6 hours.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information by writing to support@shelfdex.co.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights, and the right to complain to a regulator.
