SShelfdex
Draft. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change
before Shelfdex is generally available.
Terms of Service
Last updated 25 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Shelfdex is a warehouse inventory service operated by Carlos Vigil, doing business as Shelfdex ("we"). By creating a workspace or
signing in, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you sign up for.
2. Your workspace and your data
- The inventory, locations, orders and other records you put into Shelfdex are yours. We use
them only to run the service for you.
- You are responsible for the people you give access to, and for keeping passwords and API keys secret.
- You can export your data, and ask us to delete your workspace, at any time by writing to support@shelfdex.co.
3. Plans and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew
until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Account → Manage billing; the plan stays
active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- If a payment fails and is not resolved, the workspace moves to the Free plan. Your data is kept.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.
4. Connected assistants
If you connect your own AI assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT), it can read your workspace
and propose new locations, which you approve in Shelfdex. What the assistant does with what it reads is
governed by your agreement with its provider, not by us. You can disconnect it at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Shelfdex to break the law, to try to reach another customer's data, to overload or
probe the service, or to resell it without our written agreement.
6. Availability
We work to keep Shelfdex running and your data backed up, but the service is provided "as is",
without a guaranteed uptime unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Shelfdex is limited to
the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or
consequential losses, such as lost profits.
8. Ending
You can stop using Shelfdex at any time. We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these
terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
9. Changes and law
We will email account owners before material changes to these terms take effect. These terms are
governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
